Whenever disaster strikes in the Tri-County area, disaster
volunteers from the Tri-County Red Cross come and provide shelter, food
and clothing for victims when necessary. Volunteers are scheduled for
just a few nights a month, and go out if local disasters occur when
they are on the schedule.
All disaster training is free, and disaster volunteers also receive free first aid/CPR training. There are different levels of disaster volunteers, and if your volunteer work takes you away from home to respond to a disaster or get training we will pay for your trip, as well.
Contact Tri-County Red Cross Volunteer Director Victor Webb at (908) 756-6414 for more information or visit VolunteerMatch and apply online!

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has a few hours a month to give to their community.
