This training provides individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents or adult guardians.  This training will help participants develop skills in leadership and professionalism; basic care; safety and safe play; and first aid.

Certifications: Babysitter's Training completion certificate

Designed for 11- to 15-year olds, the Babysitter's Training Course can help you:

• Interview for a babysitter position
• Choose safe and age-appropriate toys and games
• Perform first aid
• Learn diapering and feeding techniques

• Learn safety tips for a safe babysitting experience

First Aid with CPR/AED-Adult & Child and CPR-Infant Spanish

COST: $65.00

The purpose of this course is to train individuals in the skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for victims of illness and sudden injuries, and to recognize and provide basic care for life threatening or cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Individuals will also be trained to care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest using an automated external defibrillator (AED), until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

Certifications: Standard First Aid valid for three (3) years; Adult CPR/AED valid for one (1) year; Child & Infant CPR valid for one (1) year
