The Tri-County Red Cross is recruiting new disaster volunteers to respond to disasters locally -- we respond to more than 60 local fires and floods a year -- and nationally. We've sent disaster volunteers to the recent airplane crashes, last winter's storms in New England, last summer's hurricanes Gustav and Ike, and many more.
